Hello! My name is Jason Kent, and I am the Restorative Conversation Assistant. This is my second year in Aurora Public Schools. Before coming to Edna at John W. Mosley, I taught English Language Arts, English Language Development and Creative Writing at Pioneer Charter School. I was also the School Support Specialist. In my free time I love to hike, bike, camp and standup paddle board on rivers. I am also a huge sports fan, and have played just about every sport imaginable as a youth or adult. My favorite sport is hockey, which I started playing when I was three years old, and still play today. The thing that I am most excited about this year is to reconnect with all the students again. My job is to accelerate the learning of every APS student everyday. I do my job by supporting students in the classroom, helping them become confident, responsible, successful members of their societies. Through restorative conversation, I aim to help students discover and utilize their natural, inherent resilience to overcome adversity. My community needs me to do my job!
