Hi, my name is Kasandra Foster, and I am a 5th grade teacher. I have been teaching in Aurora Public Schools for 18 years, and taught for nine years in the private sector previously. Before coming to Edna and John W. Mosley P-8, I taught at Clyde Miller and opened Vista PEAK Exploratory. I used my master's degree in reading and curriculum design to teach fifth grade literacy for the past three years at Vista PEAK. In my free time, I enjoy reading, working out, and spending time with my beautiful family. The thing I am most excited about for the 2019-20 school year is getting to know my new fifth graders and learning along side them! My job is to accelerate learning for every APS student, every day. I do my job by holding my students accountable to high expectations, and supporting them in their efforts to maximize their own learning. My community needs me to do my job.
