Hi, my name is Jennifer Leone and I am a school psychologist. I have been working in the Aurora Public Schools for 9 years. Before coming to Edna and John W. Mosley P-8, I worked as a school psychologist at AWCPA for several years, taking on various leadership roles including staffing chair and PBIS coordinator while in that position. Over the past two years I have been working as a school psychologist at Park Lane Elementary where I was afforded the opportunity to take on some preventative roles, facilitating a school-wide anti-bullying initiative called No Place For Hate and assisting with Restorative Justice (RJ) practices. In my free time I enjoy traveling, spending time with my dogs, and pretty much anything outdoorsy including: hiking, camping, running, biking, skiing, etc. During football season I am really into fantasy football and cheering on my favorite team, the Buffalo Bills! The thing I am most excited about this school year is having the opportunity to work with a wide age range of kiddos and having access to a solid team to work in partnership with when supporting kiddos. My job is to accelerate learning for every APS student, every day. I do my job by advocating for students’ best interests in a direct as well as collaborative manner to support the overall social-emotional well-being of ALL students. My community needs me to do my job.
