Hello! My name is Sarah Bentz and I will be working with students with disabilities in third grade. This will be my 14th year teaching in Aurora Public Schools but my first year at Edna and John W. Mosley. Before coming to Mosley, I worked at Laredo Elementary and before that I was at Dartmouth Elementary. During my time in APS, I have taught 2nd grade, 3rd grade, and special education. The majority of my experience is in special education and that is where my passion for teaching lies. In my free time I enjoy going on adventures with my dog, reading, crocheting, watching movies, visiting friends and family, and napping.
My job is to accelerate learning for every APS student every day. I do my job by providing specialized instruction to students and implementing accommodations with both students and teachers inside and outside the general education classroom, which allows for students to become confident and successful learners. Our community needs me to do my job.
